Dr. M. K. Iyer has been appointed as Member in Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission by the Government of Gujarat. Pursuant to such appointment, he has resigned from the Directorship of the Company with effect from 04-Aug-2010. The Board of Directors expressed pleasure that for the first time, a person from the Power Sector of Gujarat has been selected for appointment to this honourable position. The Board while accepting his resignation has also placed on record their appreciation for the services rendered by Dr. Iyer during his tenure as Director.
